INTERNSHIP, TRAINING AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Volunteered at Centre for Social Action (CSA), an extended NGO of Christ (Deemed to be University), to aid underprivileged students in improving their academic skills through weekly tutoring, at Tilaknagar, Bangalore.

Volunteered weekly for 6 months, i at Association for Mentally Challenged (AMC), Hosur Main Road, Bangalore.

Interned at ‘Manasa Neuropsychiatric Hospital’, Jayanagar, Bangalore for two successive years 2017 - 2019 (2 months each), as part of BSc curriculum requirement.

During MSc course, worked at KMC Hospital, Mangalore and Wenlock District Hospital, Mangalore, under consultants’ supervision.

‘Probono’ service as a peer counselor at ‘FindHope’ for 2 months post MSc. During MPhil course, worked as a clinical psychology trainee at JSS Hospital, Mysore and Chamrajnagar, treating patients from both urban and rural backgrounds and wide demographic groups.

Worked as an Independent Consultant Clinical Psychologist at Fortis Hospital, Bannerghatta Road, Bengaluru between January, 2024 to July, 2024 and at Sukoon Health, Bangalore from August, 2024 to December, 2024 and at BGS GIMS, Bengaluru as Consultant Clinical Psychologist under Department of Psychiatry from January, 2025 to July, 2025.

Analytical paper presentation on ‘Relationship between perceived parenting style, smartphone addiction and problematic internet use in university students’ at Virtual International Conference on Hope, efficacy, resilience, optimism towards holistic living organized by Jain (Deemed to be University), 2021. The paper was also selected and published in the conference proceedings.
